As we plan for the next five years of conservation in East Jefferson County, we want to make sure our work reflects the priorities, hopes, and lived experiences of the community we serve. Jefferson Land Trust is creating a 2026-2030 Strategic Plan — and before we finalize it, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re inviting you to take a short, 10-minute community survey to help us understand which conservation priorities matter most to you. Your perspective will help guide our work in habitat protection, working forests, farmland conservation, community access, and long-term organizational health.

Click here to take the quick survey.

A brief summary of the draft plan is included at the top of the survey. After reading it, you’ll be asked to share your thoughts on priorities, offer your ideas, and tell us a little bit about yourself so we can be sure we’re hearing from the full diversity of our community.

Your responses are anonymous in our reporting — we aggregate results, do not use personally identifying information, and will not share your data.

The survey will remain open until January 5, 2026.

Thank you for taking a few minutes to help shape the future of conservation in Jefferson County! Your input matters, and we’re grateful to have you as part of this community of care and stewardship.
