Dear Donovan, Over the years you have shared so much – expansive views, an ever-changing creek, young plantings, and a true assortment of noxious weeds! Thanks to the work of many over the years the Preserve is more and more often home to a variety of wildlife among the young trees and shrubs. This week we work together to maintain our fencelines, so that those critters and the trees they depend on can stay safe from any potentially wandering livestock. Join us in a journey through a forest, over a creek, and across a salt marsh with loppers and brush saws in hand.
Directions: From Center Road, turn onto East Quilcene Road. Take the first left onto McInnis Road then proceed approximately 0.3 miles and park on the road shoulder near the top of the first driveway on the right. Contact Carrie to carpool from Port Townsend or Chimacum.
