Paula McNees with her grandson.
Please help us extend a warm welcome to Paula McNees, who recently joined the Land Trust team as our Finance and Administrative Assistant. With more than 20 years of accounting experience, Paula brings a set of valuable and versatile skills to the Land Trust.
Paula and her family have lived in Port Townsend for more than 30 years. During that time she’s worked for both nonprofit organizations, including Centrum and the Port Townsend Marine Science Center, as well as local businesses, most recently as an accountant for Mt. Townsend Creamery.
When she’s not working, Paula enjoys spending time with her family, especially her five-year-old grandson who’s just about to start kindergarten. Her favorite forms of exercise are clogging, a form of Appalachian folk dancing and walking her American Staffordshire terrier, Bernard, who often pouts when it rains.
Paula is replacing Navarra Carr, who previously served as our Finance Assistant. Navarra has taken on a full-time role at North Olympic Land Trust.
Welcome Paula! And Congratulations Navarra!
