Conservation can help connect people to a story greater than themselves — a story grounded in history and community, and inspired by visions of the future.
Perhaps it was this sentiment that inspired three community members to start Jefferson Land Trust, a conservation organization that has given the people of our community the tools to leave a legacy of wildlife habitat, fertile farmland, majestic forests, scenic vistas and iconic landscapes for future generations.
