Opportunity to Purchase Chimacum Farmland: Information Session

Jefferson Land Trust will be selling 47 acres of protected farmland in Beaver Valley, Chimacum through an open application process beginning in October 2024.

More information about the Request for Proposals (RFP) and open application process will be shared at this in-person information session for potential buyers on Thursday, October 3rd at 7:00 pm at the Chimacum Grange.

A recorded virtual information session will also be shared in early October.

This opportunity is funded in part by two Washington state programs (the Farm Protection and Affordability Investment program and the Farmland Protection and Land Access program) that aim to protect important at-risk farmland in order to keep it in production while lowering barriers to land access for farmers or ranchers who are defined as: “Limited Resource, Beginning, Socially Disadvantaged, or Veteran” by the USDA.
