On Thursday, July 11, join us for an evening of inspiration as we celebrate 35 years of community-powered conservation during our annual LandFest fundraising gala! Tickets typically sell out ahead of the event, so we recommend that you reserve your tickets as soon as they go on sale on May 9.

Longtime LandFest hosts Luke Burbank and Matt Smith will return by popular demand and are sure to keep everyone laughing throughout the evening as we toast to the incredible progress we’ve made as a community over the last 35 years, and the vision of a bright, resilient future for Jefferson County we’re building together.

This year, we’re excited to gather at the beautiful marina at The Resort at Port Ludlow, where we’ll enjoy a gourmet farm-to-table dinner from Chef Dan Ratigan and his team from the onsite Fireside Restaurant.

LandFest 2024 Keynote Speaker Joe Kane.

We’re also thrilled to welcome keynote speaker, Joe Kane, award-winning journalist and member of the expedition that made the first complete navigation of the Amazon River, which earned him a place in the Guinness Book of World Records. His book about that adventure, “Running the Amazon,” was a national best-seller and is now in print in fifteen languages. Joe is the former executive director of the Nisqually Land Trust and co-founder of the 4,000+-acre Nisqually Community Forest. At LandFest, Joe will share his experience creating and leading this ground-breaking conservation project, an inspiration for Jefferson Land Trust’s own future community forest plans.

We’ll also enjoy live music by local musicians George Rezendes and Jonathan Doyle, more special guest speakers, the unveiling of exciting new projects, fun prizes, and more!
