This past winter, we put out a special call for a specific donation: a stewardship vehicle to be used primarily by our stewardship team on their easement monitoring visits across East Jefferson County. We’re thrilled to share that anonymous community donors recently stepped up to answer the call!
“Rosie” the red SUV (yes, she came with a name!) is the newest member of the Land Trust team. She’s already become an invaluable asset to our stewardship team members as the spring/summer monitoring season begins — and she’s in such excellent shape, we’re confident she’ll continue to carry us forward for many years to come.
Marlowe Moser, our Stewardship Assistant, says: “The stewardship team is so grateful to have a safe, durable — and beautiful! — vehicle to help us do our monitoring work and more throughout the county. Rosie rocks!”
None of the work we do would be possible without the ongoing commitment of donors who step up in all kinds of ways to support our mission, and the generosity of our community never fails to amaze us. Please join us in honking a metaphorical horn to applaud this incredible gift and welcome Rosie to the team!
