Saturday, March 21 • 9:30 am – 12:30 pm • Chimacum Ridge Community Forest
Jefferson Land Trust staff will discuss the recent forestry history of Chimacum Ridge Community Forest and upcoming plans for a small harvest. The harvest this year aligns with how the community forest is working to sustain the ecological, economic, and social benefits of the forest that benefit the land and the community.
This harvest will help restore the area to a more natural, ecologically diverse environment. Participants will have the opportunity to assist in flagging wildlife trees and other forestry related areas.
