Tuesday, June 24 • 10:00 am – 1:00 pm • Chai-yahk-wh Preserve •
Native plant diversity is in, and English ivy is out! Help us seek out and dig out ivy that is taking over valuable habitat space. Chai-yahk-wh Preserve, on Marrowstone Island, is the infamous site of the largest ivy we’ve ever pulled/dug/cut, so be prepared! We’ll be tracking down small trailing pieces and the monster-size vines alike.
Directions: The Chai-yahk-wh parking area is located on Flagler Road, across from Griffith Point Road, on Marrowstone Island. Please refrain from parking along East Marrowstone Road to ensure public safety.
