Help us get Chimacum Ridge Community Forest ready to open in 2025! We’ll be working on what will become the main access trail to Chimacum Ridge from the Valley View Forest parking lot by smoothing sections of the trail with shovels and rakes; moving and raking gravel; creating small channels for water to run off; and pulling noxious weeds from trailsides. We recommend that you bring water, sun protection, closed toe shoes/boots that you don’t mind getting dirty, work gloves, eye protection, and a snack. We’ll provide extra snacks and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Directions: Meet at the Valley View Forest parking lot at 1717 Center Road, Chimacum. From Chimacum Corner, travel 1.7 miles south on Center Road to the gravel driveway on the left.
