Join us! The relatively untouched Marrowstone Island preserve will need lots of working hands to get it ready for use by the public.
Join us for this first opportunity to lend a hand on the land at our newly established nature preserve on Marrowstone Island! This will be the first of many work events to get the preserve ready for the public and it’s grand opening in spring 2019.
Check out our Marrowstone Preserve page to learn more information about the next steps in the process of turning this beautiful property into a preserve.
Dive deep into mature forest to seek out pernicious ivy and holly that threatens the lovely native forest. The terrain is level, the trees above will provide great shelter from the rain, and it’s a great time of year to get outside.
