Calling all who love forests, streams, and salmon! Now at Illahee Preserve we will be grubbing out non-native blackberry vines that tend to overtake our native plants along the open areas and trail edges of this beloved Preserve. We’ll pause for a break in our newly-improved covered shelter space. Come one, come all, who want to dig out blackerry root balls!
Directions: From Hwy 19 turn onto Prospect Avenue towards Kala Point. Take Creekview Lane (the first road to the right) and follow until the end. Park at the split-rail fence and walk on in!
