Geology Group Lecture: Ground Water on the Olympic Penninsula

Join the Jefferson Land Trust Geology group for a presentation by Steve Cox, USGS Hydrologist that answers the question “How old is our groundwater?” We’ll explore where groundwater occurs in our the Puget Sound region along with a discussion on how scientists are able to determine the age of the water in an aquifer.

Event Details: The hour-long lecture starts at 4 pm at the First Baptist Church, 1202 Lawrence Street in Uptown Port Townsend. It is sponsored by the Geology Group and is open to the public; a donation of $5 would be appreciated to defray expenses.
