Adults must be accompanied by children! For ages 3-16. Bring your family’s love for outdoor adventure and creativity together in our Family Plein Air Art Class (French for “in open air”)! Join local artist Patricia Hagen and local naturalists to explore the stunning Valley View Forest in Chimacum. Along the way, they’ll highlight the colors, textures, and shapes of the natural world — helping you see nature through an artist’s eyes. Then, we’ll gather at the Valley View Pavilion, where Patricia will share insights on materials, techniques, and styles, and guide you and your child to create your own nature-inspired artwork. This class is open to families of all kinds, and there’s no cost to attend. Space is limited to 16 participants, so reserve your spot today!
Directions: From Chimacum Corner, travel 1.7 miles south on Center Road to the gravel driveway on the left. This leads to Valley View Forest’s public parking area and trailhead.
