The Land Trust team joins conservation organizations and outdoor enthusiasts across the nation in celebrating the leadership of Charles F. “Chuck” Sams III as Director of the National Park Service (NPS). Chuck, who was ceremonially sworn in by Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland in mid-December, is the first Tribal citizen to lead the agency, which has been without a Senate-confirmed leader for nearly five years.
