A Northwest native, Chris joined the Jefferson Land Trust team in 2015 to oversee the organization’s growing fundraising and communications efforts. In this role, she is able to blend her passion for conservation with 20 years of professional experience in program development, non-profit management and fundraising. She comes most recently from a senior leadership position at Conservation Northwest, and has also held fundraising management positions at Grist and the University of Washington. Chris is a seasoned non-profit leader, serving as Executive Director for both the Edmonds Community College Foundation and Rosehedge AIDS Housing and Health Care in Seattle. She holds a BA in English Literature and a Masters in Public Administration, both from the University of Washington.
