Dear Friends,

Right now, amid the many challenges we face, two things give me hope: you and the resilience of our community.

Local nonprofits are working harder than ever to weave the best of our shared values into a strong social fabric. Like the mycelium networks beneath our forests — quietly connecting, nourishing, and sustaining life — our community thrives because of the invisible bonds we share.

Jefferson Land Trust is proud to be one thread in this strong social fabric. By protecting the farms, forests, and waterways that sustain life — and by offering outdoor education experiences for all our kids — we’re helping to create a place where both people and wildlife can thrive.

And none of this is possible without your support.

As GiveBIG begins, I invite you to continue standing with us — and with the nonprofits that make this a place we all love to live. Every action counts: donate, volunteer, buy local, support a CSA, or simply spread the word.

Together, we can ensure this community remains resilient, healthy, and hopeful — for everyone.

With deep gratitude,

Richard Tucker
Executive Director, Jefferson Land Trust
